CD Sleeve Artwork for dfader's Insomenyah album release. Took me a while to complete using material from other artworks and then heavily modified them. Haven't worked with Image Editors in a really long time and it was fun to take over it again (at least for a while).
The sound of this album is very atmospheric / trip-hop / down tempo, enriched with lots of different arrangements such as tv-recorded-like voices, pads, broken beats, modified fx sounds... so I pictured it as a very texturized enviroment. I also tried to achieve a balance in color between warmth and lightness, to have them both tied down.
Technically I should have included typographic work in more detail but never got really the feel of it.
Most of the texture work are from my own texture library.
